We are recruiting for an experienced Financial Reporting Accountant to join an established banking organisation in Central London. This is a hands-on role supporting the Financial Control function across month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, audit and a core banking system UAT project. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate contribution.

- Manage month-end financial close, journals and accounting adjustments.
- Prepare and review reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
- Produce daily and weekly financial reports.
- Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and resolve discrepancies.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a core banking system project.
- Validate financial reports, accounting entries and system-generated outputs.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
πΉ What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in financial reporting, financial accounting or financial control.
- Strong month-end close and reconciliation experience.
- Experience preparing financial reports and analysing variances.
- Previous UAT or financial systems testing experience.
- Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
