Financial Reporting Analyst Vacancy - Middleton, Manchester - Up to £31,000 plus profit share and private medical insurance

This is a full time, office based role.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provision and analysing of daily, weekly and monthly reports for both internal and external stakeholders, offering actionable insights and adding value.
  • Continued maintenance and development of reporting, collaborating with business users to understand requirements and deliver customised reporting.
  • Ownership, development and interpretation of cost centre reporting to heads of departments.
  • Support the Finance department in delivering the annual company budget.
  • Support with ad hoc data reporting and analysis based on stakeholder needs.
  • Support the Financial Data and Analytics team on the exciting journey of implementing Power BI into the business.

The Person

  • Part qualified accountant / finalist with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain financial metrics to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Good team player and able to work within a team environment, also possessing the ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated and driven, looking to develop their own personal skills and the role itself.
  • Excellent IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Nav, Jet Reports, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Jet Analytics would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Ability to build solid working relationships with colleagues at all different levels.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage workloads effectively and meet reporting deadlines.
