Financial Services | Group Reporting & Statutory Accounts
£600 per day via umbrella
I'm working with a Financial Services business looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Contractor to take ownership of consolidated statutory accounts and year-end audit delivery.
This is a hands-on assignment requiring someone who can hit the ground running, manage multiple reporting deadlines and independently drive the year-end process from planning through to completion.

- Preparing consolidated group and individual entity statutory financial statements.
- Managing year-end external audits, including PBC schedules and auditor queries.
- Updating statutory accounts and disclosures under UK GAAP and FRS 102.
- Researching technical accounting matters and preparing supporting papers.
- Coordinating with Finance, Tax, Legal and other stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines.
Who I'm looking for
A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with substantial hands-on statutory reporting experience, including preparation of consolidated group accounts.

You'll need strong technical knowledge of FRS 102, experience managing external audits and the confidence to take full ownership of reporting deliverables with minimal supervision.
Candidates from an in-house reporting background, interim assignments or practice will be considered, provided they have the relevant hands-on experience.
Financial services or asset management experience would be beneficial.
