About the Opportunity

A leading international professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join its UK finance leadership team.

This role is more than just a traditional financial reporting position. We are looking for a technically proficient accountant who is equally passionate about transforming finance operations, challenging existing methods, and driving continuous improvement across a complex, multi-entity business.

  • Producing high-quality management accounts and Board reporting.
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Managing the year-end external audit process and acting as the primary finance contact for auditors.
  • Overseeing the month-end close process across multiple legal entities.
  • Driving continuous improvement across financial reporting, controls, and governance.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency through technology and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Challenging existing processes and implementing scalable, best-in-class reporting practices.
  • Supporting finance transformation initiatives, systems optimization, and process standardization.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
