An exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead a small team responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of financial, statutory and management reporting. The role will ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain a robust control environment, support audit activities and drive continuous improvements across reporting processes.
Your new role
- Lead, develop and mentor a small Financial Reporting team.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
- Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting packs.
- Coordinate the production of statutory accounts in line with IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
- Ensure balance sheet integrity through review of reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Act as the key contact for external and internal auditors.
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance processes.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support senior management decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation and reporting efficiencies.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.

What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Strong financial reporting and statutory accounting experience.
- Previous experience managing month-end and year-end reporting cycles.
- Experience leading or supervising a small finance team.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
