Financial Reporting Manager

Walsall | Hybrid | Up to £70k + Benefits

We're working with a growing, high performing business that's entering an exciting period of change, and they're looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to play a central role in shaping what comes next.

This isn't a role about maintaining the status quo. The business has built a genuinely collaborative finance function, one where people support each other, share knowledge freely, and take real pride in getting things right. As the organisation moves through this next phase of growth, they want someone who can help build on that foundation and take financial control to the next level.

The role

At the heart of this position is ownership of financial control. You'll be the person driving rigour, consistency, and improvement across reporting, month end, and statutory processes, while also playing a key role in audit management from start to finish.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
