A well-established and highly regarded professional services firm is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join its growing team. Your new role
This is a key management position, combining technical financial reporting expertise with team leadership and client relationship management. You'll oversee the delivery of financial statement reviews across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and within agreed deadlines. Acting as a senior point of contact, you'll work closely with clients and colleagues to resolve queries, manage workflow and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the delivery and review of financial reporting assignments
- Leading, mentoring and developing junior team members
- Monitoring workflow and ensuring projects are completed to agreed timescales
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Acting as an escalation point for technical and operational matters
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service
- Supporting business development activity and contributing to the continued growth of the team

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and possess strong financial reporting experience gained within practice or a similar professional environment.
You'll also be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience managing or supervising staff
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and commercial approach
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
