Financial Reporting Senior Manager
An established and highly respected organisation is seeking a Financial Reporting Senior Manager to lead statutory reporting, technical accounting and external audit activities across its group structure. This role offers the opportunity to work within a complex financial environment while helping to maintain strong governance, compliance and financial controls.

Description
- Lead the production of statutory and interim financial statements across a group of entities.
- Act as the subject matter expert on IFRS and technical accounting matters.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the audit process.
- Ensure robust financial governance, controls and compliance standards are maintained.
- Oversee financial asset and liability reporting, including IFRS 9 assessments and documentation.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and audit trails.
- Support the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide technical accounting guidance and support.

Profile
A successful Financial Reporting Senior Manager should have:
- A technically strong qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
- Strong IFRS and technical accounting expertise.
- Experience producing complex consolidated financial statements.
- A background within banking, investment management, financial services or another similarly regulated environment.
- Previous experience managing external audits.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality reporting.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively whilst influencing senior decision-makers.
Job Offer
- Salary between £56,000 and £62,500, pro rata dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working with an expectation of two office days per week.
- Fixed-term contract through to March 2027.
- 30 days annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell holiday.
