A leading professional services firm is seeking a Financial Reporting Senior / Assistant Manager to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing accounting, financial reporting, and finance function support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, management accounts, VAT returns, and statutory accounts preparation.
- Act as a key contact during the year-end audit process, liaising with auditors and client stakeholders.
- Support finance function improvement projects, including outsourced accounting services and systems implementation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive support and advice.
- Manage client portfolios, including fee management, billing, and commercial monitoring.
- Supervise and develop junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.

About You
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified or qualified.
- At least 3 years’ experience within outsourcing, management accounting, finance function support, or professional practice.
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP, VAT compliance, and accounting software.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is advantageous.
