About The Team

Our Financial Reporting Valuations team is a specialist practice within the wider Valuations team, providing valuation advice to a broad range of corporate, private equity-backed and listed clients. We support clients with purchase price allocations, impairment testing, complex financial instrument valuations, and other financial reporting requirements under IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Manager to join our London office and support the delivery and development of our Financial Reporting Valuations practice. You will work closely with senior leadership on complex valuation engagements while helping to develop client relationships and contribute to the future growth of the team.

About The Role

As a Manager within the Financial Reporting Valuations team, you will:

  • Lead and manage financial reporting valuation engagements, including purchase price allocations (PPA), impairment reviews and other fair value assignments.
  • Prepare and review valuation models, analyses and reports in accordance with relevant accounting and valuation standards.
  • Support audit teams by responding to valuation-related queries and engaging with audit review processes.
  • Project manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring delivery to budget and agreed deadlines.
  • Develop strong and lasting relationships with clients, understanding their business and responding proactively to their needs.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for new work across existing and prospective clients.
  • Support business development initiatives, including proposals, pitches and thought leadership.
  • Coach, mentor and develop junior team members, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development.
  • Contribute to the continued development of methodologies, tools and innovation initiatives within the valuation practice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Valuations, M&A, Transaction Services and the wider advisory business.
  • Maintain high standards of technical excellence and ensure compliance with firm policies, professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and strategic thinking in support of the team's long-term growth objectives.

What We Are Looking For

  • ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in business valuation and financial reporting valuation assignments, including purchase price allocations and impairment testing.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, FRS 102 and fair value measurement principles.
  • Experience managing valuation engagements and coordinating teams to deliver high-quality client service.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent report-writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for business development.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to review complex analyses and exercise sound professional judgement.
  • Passion for developing and coaching junior team members.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a desire to contribute to the growth of the Financial Reporting Valuations practice.
