Financial Services Regulatory Associate | London | 1+ PQE
Wicker Hamilton is recruiting a FS Reg Associate on behalf of a leading international law firm in London.
This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded team advising sophisticated clients on complex UK and cross-border regulatory matters. The role offers a varied mix of non-contentious advisory and transactional work, with direct client contact and meaningful responsibility.
The role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising on UK and EU financial services regulation.
- Supporting regulatory authorisations, permissions, and perimeter advice.
- Advising on the regulatory aspects of transactions and investments.
- Assisting clients with ongoing compliance and governance requirements.
- Assessing regulatory developments and their practical implications for clients.
- Working closely with colleagues across complementary practice areas on domestic and cross-border matters.
- Developing client relationships and taking increasing responsibility for matters.

About you

The successful candidate will have:
- At least one year’s post-qualification experience.
- Strong non-contentious Financial Services Regulatory experience gained at a leading City, international, or US law firm.
- Strong technical, drafting, and analytical skills.
- The ability to communicate complex regulatory issues clearly and practically.
- A collaborative approach.
