Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Purpose of the role:

This is an opportunity for a Financial Planning Administrator who has already built a good foundation within IFA or wealth management administration and is looking for their next step.

You will join Finura’s newly created centralised hub, working alongside other administrators and an experienced Team Leader. The team will support the wider Client Account Management function with non-client-facing administration, helping to ensure work continues to move efficiently across the business.

The role will include areas such as file preparation, fund switches, trading and ongoing servicing activity. Unlike a traditional CAM position, you will not initially manage your own client relationships.

Importantly, Finura see this as a developmental role. As your experience and technical knowledge grow, there will be scope to progress towards a more senior Client Account Manager position and greater responsibility within one of the adviser hubs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete financial planning administration on behalf of the wider Client Account Management team.
  • Prepare client files and supporting documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Process fund switches, trading instructions and ongoing servicing requests.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client records across Finura’s systems.
  • Monitor allocated work and ensure tasks are completed within agreed SLAs.
  • Work closely with the Team Leader and wider CAM team to ensure work is prioritised effectively.
  • Provide additional support during periods of increased workload or team absence.
  • Develop your knowledge of Finura’s systems, processes and service standards.
  • Take increasing ownership of more complex administration as your experience develops

The Ideal Employee:

You will already understand the fundamentals of financial planning administration and be comfortable working with provider platforms, internal systems and regulated processes.

You do not need to be a finished Senior Administrator. Finura are looking for someone with a good foundation who is keen to develop their knowledge and take on greater responsibility over time.

You will be organised, accurate and comfortable managing your workload against agreed deadlines. You should also be willing to learn, ask questions and make use of the support available from more experienced colleagues.

This could be particularly suited to someone who enjoys financial planning administration but has reached the point where they would benefit from broader exposure, structured development and a clearer progression route.

Experience required:

2 Years experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning administration role.
