Financial Services Administrator

📍 Barnet, Hertfordshire
💷 £35,000 depending on experience
🕐 Full-time | Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Services Administrator to join a friendly and growing financial services team in Barnet. You'll provide administrative support across both mortgages and investments, working closely with 3 Mortgage Advisers and 2 Investment Advisers. This is a varied role with plenty of opportunity to develop your knowledge and build a long-term career within financial services.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting advisers with mortgage and investment administration
  • Managing a busy caseload of 50–60+ mortgage applications
  • Supporting applications from submission through to completion
  • Preparing documentation and maintaining accurate client records
  • Liaising with lenders, providers, solicitors, and clients
  • Processing daily commissions and adviser fees
  • Supporting investment and pension administration
  • Assisting with client reviews and ongoing servicing
  • Keeping compliance documentation up to date
  • Working closely with the Office Manager to ensure cases progress smoothly

About you:

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and personable, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Previous experience in financial services, mortgages, or investments would be advantageous, but attitude and potential are just as important. We're happy to consider candidates with strong general administration experience who are keen to learn and develop.
