Purpose of the role

Financial Services is Natterbox's primary target vertical, spanning banks, fintechs, payments, and insurance customers. This role exists to give that vertical a dedicated commercial voice within marketing: someone who owns Financial Services positioning, messaging, and campaign execution end-to-end, and who can move as fast as the pipeline requires.

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role reporting into the Global Marketing Director. It's for someone who can turn a vertical strategy into a live campaign, a piece of content, or a piece of sales enablement without needing a team underneath them to do it. If you want deep ownership of one of Natterbox's most commercially important verticals, and you're comfortable being the one who builds as well as plans, this is the role.

Core Responsibilities

Financial Services Demand Generation and Pipeline

  • You'll own demand generation execution for the Financial Services vertical across inbound, outbound, paid search, events, content, and webinars, aligned to SQL and pipeline targets set with the Global Marketing Director.
  • You'll maintain the Financial Services ICP and segment targeting, keeping campaigns focused on the banks, fintechs, payments, and insurance accounts most likely to convert.
  • You'll track and report on Financial Services marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline, flagging performance gaps early.
  • You'll manage the Financial Services share of the marketing budget, tracking spend and justifying it against pipeline outcomes.

Financial Services GTM, Positioning, and Sales Enablement

  • You'll own Financial Services-specific GTM strategy, positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation, keeping it current as the product and regulatory landscape evolve.
  • You'll translate new product capabilities into Financial Services-relevant messaging, working closely with Product Marketing on launch communications for the vertical.
  • You'll own Financial Services sales enablement materials: battle cards, competitive intelligence, objection handling, and pitch materials built for the vertical's specific buying concerns (compliance, security, resilience).
  • You'll be the primary marketing point of contact for Financial Services-focused sales reps, providing daily input on messaging, competitive positioning, and deal support.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Financial Services Content, Brand, and Customer Marketing

  • You'll own the Financial Services content strategy: case studies, thought leadership, webinars, and executive profiling that build credibility with regulated-industry buyers.
  • You'll work with the Customer Marketing Manager to build advocacy and reference programmes with Financial Services customers, supporting retention and expansion.
  • You'll ensure the Natterbox brand and website content addresses Financial Services buyers clearly and credibly, working with the wider marketing team to keep it current.

Events and Agency Management

  • You'll lead the strategy and priorities for Financial Services-focused events, including sponsorships such as CX BFSI Exchange Europe, from planning through to execution and follow-up.
  • Where a marketing colleague owns a specific supplier or event partner relationship, you'll work closely with them to make sure Financial Services requirements, messaging, and standards are built into that partner's planning and delivery, rather than managing every relationship directly yourself.
  • You'll flag any gaps or risks in supplier or event partner delivery that could affect Financial Services outcomes, working with the relationship owner to resolve them.

Essential Experience

  • 5+ years in a B2B SaaS or technology marketing function, with hands-on accountability for campaign execution and pipeline contribution, not just brand or comms delivery.
  • Experience marketing to, or working within, financial services, fintech, banking, payments, or insurance, with credibility speaking to regulated-industry buying concerns.
  • Demand generation execution experience: running campaigns across paid, content, events, and webinars against SQL targets.
  • Product marketing experience: turning product capability into positioning and messaging that lands with a specific vertical audience.
  • Experience working directly with sales teams on enablement, messaging, and deal support.

What you'll bring:

  • Vertical fluency: you understand the commercial and buying pressures facing financial services organisations and can speak to them credibly.
  • Hands-on execution: you're comfortable being the one who builds the campaign, writes the case study, or drafts the battle card, not just the one who plans it.
  • Commercial acumen: you connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes for the vertical and communicate that clearly.
  • Salesforce literacy: you understand campaign attribution and opportunity data well enough to track your own vertical's contribution.
  • Content and editorial judgement: you know what good looks like for a regulated-industry audience and can produce it, not just approve it.
  • Pace with standards: you move quickly, but you hold a high bar on anything that goes externally to Financial Services customers and prospects.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with the CCaaS, Voice AI, or contact centre technology landscape.
  • Experience with ABM platforms, intent data tools, or advanced lead scoring models.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) or equivalent marketing automation tooling.
  • Awareness of financial services regulatory or compliance considerations relevant to marketing communications.

We offer a range of benefits to all our employees.

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance related bonus
  • Private medical insurance
  • 25 days holiday increasing to 30 days after 2 years (plus bank holidays)
