Financial Services Operations Manager - Integration Division
An opportunity to join AFH Wealth Management, one of the UK’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms.
We are looking for an Financial Services Operations Team Manager who wishes to grow with us as a business and support our strong growth plans. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with hybrid working and in return, you will receive a competitive salary and range of benefits.
The purpose of the Team Manager is to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of post-acquisition integration activities, ensuring that strategic, operational, and financial objectives are achieved. This role blends cross-functional leadership, strong analytical capability, and people management.
The manager oversees an integration team responsible for driving workstreams, analysing data, and ensuring seamless alignment across the business. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who thrives in fast-moving environments.
As a Financial Services Operations Manager you will:
- Build comprehensive integration plans aligned with deal terms and organisational priorities
- Undertake due diligence to assess integration complexity, data readiness, and identify potential risks
- Lead, mentor, and develop an integration team responsible for workstream execution, data analysis, and project coordination.
- Guide the team in analysing client, financial and operational data to validate assumptions and support decision-making
- Develop and manage end-to-end integration plans aligned with BAU operations processes
- Translate complex data into workable data sets with clear insights and recommendations for executive leadership.
- Monitor progress against integration plans, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Introduce data-driven methodologies to improve integration speed, quality, and predictability.
- Any other reasonable request made by a Director/Manager of the organisation

What we are looking for in our Ideal Financial Services Operations Team Manager:
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and other MS applications
- Ability to analyse, cleanse and interpret complex data sets and communicate insights clearly.
- Proven experience managing and developing a team.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments.
