Committee Secretary | 3-Months FTC | Dudley - Hybrid | Financial Services | circa £30K | Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for a Committee Secretary to join a well-established financial services organisation based in Dudley on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys supporting senior stakeholders and ensuring the smooth running of committee meetings and governance processes.
The Role
Working closely with management committees, you will provide essential administrative and secretarial support, helping to coordinate meetings and maintain accurate records. This role is focused on organisation, communication, and attention to detail rather than technical company secretarial responsibilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating committee and management meetings
- Preparing, collating and distributing meeting packs and papers
- Uploading documentation to the organisation's governance portal
- Coordinating the production and distribution of meeting minutes
- Managing meeting schedules and agendas
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure papers are submitted on time
- Supporting the smooth and efficient operation of committee activities

About You
We are looking for a highly organised individual with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience supporting committees, boards, or management meetings in an administrative or secretarial capacity
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience preparing meeting documentation and minutes
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems

Previous financial services experience is not essential, and formal Company Secretarial qualifications are not required.
