ExePay is a digital-first fintech platform and Principal Member of Visa and Mastercard, offering secure UK and European IBAN accounts, international investment opportunities, and premium lifestyle support services. Our platform provides secure B2B business accounts, multi-currency payment management, and support for international financial operations, enabling clients to manage complex transactions efficiently and with confidence.
We are currently looking for a Financial Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of payment operations—from performing transaction reconciliations and analyzing discrepancies to managing settlement processes and executing bank transfers. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants hands-on experience with complex financial flows.
Responsibilities
- Perform transaction and settlement verification, conduct manual reconciliations, and prepare regular reports to ensure the transparency and accuracy of financial data.
- Work with data exports and reports from payment systems (including Visa, Mastercard, and processing centers) to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Process settlement files, ensure the accuracy of calculations, and execute bank transfers to merchants.
- Manage invoice payments, maintain the payment calendar, monitor cash balances, and update internal payment tracking tools.
- Communicate effectively with merchants, banks, payment partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Ensure all transactions and reports comply with accounting standards, company policies, and secure transaction criteria.
- Assist the team leader in preparing comprehensive financial reports and proposals for senior management.

Requirements
- Background in the payments industry, banking, or licensed financial institutions (UK experience is a significant plus).
- Strong ability to work with financial data, reports, and manual reconciliation with extreme attention to detail.
- A fast learner with a flexible mindset and an open-minded approach to finding creative, non-standard solutions.
- Confident command of English with a transparent and open communication style.
- A practical, results-oriented approach that prioritizes efficiency over excessive bureaucracy.
- Proficiency in financial tracking tools and Excel.
