PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a Financial Systems Support to provide day-to-day support across multiple businesses and play a key role in the migration, implementation, and ongoing administration of financial systems, with a particular focus on Xero.

This is a hands-on support role suited to an individual who combines strong organisational and customer service skills with a sound understanding of finance, bookkeeping, accounting processes, and cloud-based financial systems.

The successful candidate will act as a primary point of contact for users, helping to resolve system queries, maintain accurate financial data, support business migrations to Xero, and drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Xero Migration & Implementation

  • Support the migration of multiple companies onto Xero.
  • Assist with the setup of new Xero organisations, including user access, permissions, and financial configurations.
  • Support the migration and validation of financial data, including customers, suppliers, invoices, balances, and historical transactions.
  • Collaborate with finance teams, accountants, and business stakeholders to ensure migrations are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies identified during migration activities.
  • Assist with the configuration of chart of accounts, VAT settings, bank feeds, tracking categories, and other Xero functionality.
  • Maintain migration plans, checklists, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide post-implementation support and user guidance to ensure successful adoption of the system.

Systems Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for Xero and financial systems support across multiple businesses.
  • Respond to support requests via email, telephone, and ticketing systems in line with SLA’s.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide practical, user-focused solutions.
  • Escalate complex technical or accounting issues to the appropriate subject matter experts.
  • Communicate effectively with users regarding issue status, progress, and resolution timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and recurring issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance user experience, and reduce repeat incidents.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
