Role Description
The Finders Research Program role is an entry-level, full-time position based on-site/hybrid in London. The role involves conducting detailed research into family histories, public records, and official documents to help trace heirs, beneficiaries, and related parties in probate cases.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

- Reviewing and interpreting legal and genealogical records
- Entering and maintaining accurate data in internal systems
- Preparing clear summaries and reports for internal teams
- Liaising with colleagues to verify findings
- Following established research methodologies
- Supporting researchers and case managers in progressing active files
The role requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and a strong interest in genealogy, legal research, or related fields.
Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical abilities, including confidence working with public records, legal documents, and genealogical information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and accurately.
- High level of attention to detail, organisation, and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Competence using standard office software and online databases; comfort learning new digital tools and research platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a structured process and to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Interest in genealogy, legal studies, history, or related disciplines; prior exposure through study or personal projects is an advantage.
- Relevant education such as a degree or equivalent experience in a research-focused, legal, or humanities field is beneficial.
