Why This Role Is Available
Our guest-facing team is currently comprised of 13 brilliant women. The studio team specifically has two full-time photographers and two full-time makeup artists. We are about to release evening sessions for our community, which has made room for two more full-time Photographers & HMUA's to join the company.
This is an evening-based role. You will work evenings and weekends as the standard pattern, not as occasional cover. We are looking for someone who actively wants those hours and prefers later starts and finishes, not someone willing to put up with them.
The role would be full-time starting December 1st 2026 in our new Farringdon headquarters, which we have just bought. For the right artists who impress up, paid training and onboarding may begin as early as October.
Our guests are all women as we specialize in fine art & implied nudity, you'll be part of an all-female creative floor team for their comfort and safety.
If you want to be part of a tight in-studio team and push your styling craft to a world-class standard, keep reading.
Your Mission
A pure craft role. No sales. No editing. Your job is running three bespoke shoots a day, every day.
This role has two equally important parts: the artistry, and the relationship you build with each guest. While most studios fit as many women through the doors as they can, you hold just three sessions a day, two hours per woman. Each guest has an hour getting her makeup done, at which time you are part of that experience and getting to know her.
You'll know all about the guest from consultations the rest of the team has had, and will be looking to use that time to build trust, get deep with her and understand her vision before bringing it to life. During the shoot you will have roughly 45 minutes with your guest. The makeup artist will be with you all day and vice versa to provide the most personal support.
Most of our guests have never done a shoot before. Your job on set is to direct and pose a woman who does not think of herself as someone who gets photographed, and to do it so calmly that she forgets to be nervous. It's also to build rapport & connection with every woman who walks through the door. A 50-year-old mother of three and a 19-year-old about to step into university. New married and in the midst of divorce. CEO boss babes and fellow creatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
