Waltham Forest | £100-£115 per day DOE | ASAP Start DBS on the Update Service Required

The Creative Arts Department
This is a thriving, well-resourced department spanning Fine Art, Photography and Textiles. The team delivers an ambitious curriculum across KS3-KS5, blending traditional techniques with contemporary practice. Students benefit from specialist studios, darkroom facilities, textile workshops and a vibrant programme of practical exploration. It's a fast-paced, hands-on environment where creativity is celebrated and no two days look the same.
The Role
The Fine Art, Photography & Textiles Technician will support the smooth running of this busy department. Responsibilities include:

- Preparing and maintaining specialist materials, equipment and learning spaces.
- Supporting teachers and pupils with practical processes, demonstrations and workshop activities.
- Managing stock, ordering supplies and ensuring safe working practices.
- Responding flexibly to changing priorities across a dynamic secondary-school setting.
- Working independently with initiative, while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
This role suits someone organised, proactive and confident working with a wide range of creative materials and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience within Art, Photography, Textiles, DT or creative workshop environments.
- Previous experience supporting pupils in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and confidence handling specialist equipment.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Available to start ASAP.

Pay
£100-£115 per day DOE
