Hays Recruitment - Finisher Opportunity
Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Finisher to work on a busy social housing kitchen replacement programme across Huyton and the surrounding Liverpool area.
This is a long-term contract working as part of a planned maintenance team, carrying out finishing and snagging works on newly installed kitchens within occupied and void properties. The programme is delivering approximately one kitchen per day, requiring a keen eye for detail and high-quality finishing standards.
Your new role
- Completing all finishing works following kitchen installations
- Carrying out snagging tasks including silicone application, making good, patch plastering and minor joinery repairs
- Touch-up painting and decorating where required
- Adjusting kitchen doors, handles, plinths and trims
- Repairing damaged surfaces and ensuring kitchens are handed over to a high standard
- Working alongside kitchen fitters, plumbers, electricians and tilers to complete each property on schedule
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with client specifications and quality standards
- Maintaining excellent customer service when working within tenants' homes

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Finisher, Multi-Skilled Operative or Snagger
- Experience working on social housing refurbishment projects
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to carry out basic patch plastering, decorating and joinery repairs
- Own tools and transport preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence desirable
