We now seek an enthusiastic Finishing Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
We are looking for a detail-focused Finishing Manager to join the team on a major science and technology development in Windlesham.
With several buildings approaching completion, you will play a key role in driving the project through its final stages, ensuring the highest levels of quality are achieved before handover. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors and consultants, you will oversee finishing trades, snagging, quality inspections and close-out activities across multiple buildings.
This position would suit an organised and motivated construction professional who takes pride in achieving exceptional standards and enjoys seeing projects through to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage finishing and close-out activities across multiple buildings.
- Coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades to ensure works are completed on programme.
- Carry out quality inspections and identify defects or snagging items.
- Track and manage snagging lists through to completion.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship is maintained throughout the finishing stages.
- Liaise with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior project leadership.
- Support pre-handover inspections and client demonstrations.
- Maintain excellent health and safety standards during the final phases of construction.
- Assist in achieving smooth and successful project handovers.

About You
You are highly organised, quality-driven and take satisfaction from delivering buildings to an exceptional standard.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience as a Finishing Manager, Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of finishing trades, quality management and snagging processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering a high-quality product.
- A positive and collaborative approach to working with project teams and subcontractors.
- The confidence to challenge poor standards and drive actions to completion.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A commitment to health, safety and quality excellence.
- Relevant CSCS card and site management qualifications.
- A driving licence would be beneficial due to the site location, although a shuttle service operates from the nearest railway station for those travelling by public transport.
