To assist the Site Manager in overseeing and coordinating all finishing works on the construction site, ensuring work is completed safely, to the required quality standards, and within the programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise finishing trades on site.
  • Monitor the quality of completed works and identify any defects.
  • Ensure snagging items are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of subcontractors.
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain progress.
  • Support inspections and client walkthroughs as required.
  • Report progress and any issues to the Site Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Finishing Manager or Site Supervisor on construction projects.
  • Good understanding of finishing trades and quality standards.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and work to tight deadlines.
  • Valid CSCS card (Supervisor or Manager level preferred).
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred).
  • First Aid at Work (preferred).

Contract

  • Temporary contract for approximately 4–6 weeks.
  • Reporting directly to the Site Manager.
  • Immediate start preferred.
