Finishing Manager - High-Rise Student Accommodation
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £250 per day (CIS)
Duration: 10-12 Months
Start: Immediate
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finishing Site Manager to join a flagship high-rise student accommodation project in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale development with a well-established main contractor, overseeing the final stages of the build and ensuring the project is completed to the highest standards.
The Role
As Finishing Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all finishing trades, driving quality, and ensuring apartments and communal areas are completed on programme ready for handover.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing all internal finishing works across multiple floors.
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
- Producing and managing snagging lists.
- Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring defects are closed out efficiently.
- Liaising with the Project Manager, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Maintaining high health & safety standards on site.
- Assisting with handovers and achieving programme milestones.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finishing Site Manager on student accommodation
- Strong eye for detail and quality.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
- Ability to manage multiple trades in a fast-paced environment.
