Finishing Manager – £60,000 + Comprehensive Package

£60m Commercial Refurbishment & Life Sciences | King's Cross, London | Tier 1 Main Contractor

Skilled Careers are working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Finishing Manager on a major £60m commercial refurbishment and life sciences development in Central London.

This is a key appointment within an established project team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of quality inspections, snagging management and the handover process on a technically challenging scheme.

The Project

The scheme involves the extensive refurbishment and extension of an existing commercial building to deliver a high-specification life sciences facility for a single occupier.

The project is progressing well, with external façade works nearing completion and internal MEP and fit-out works underway across multiple workfaces.

With practical completion targeted for April 2027, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Finishing Manager to oversee the quality assurance, snagging and handover process, with the ambition of achieving a zero-defect completion.

The Role

Working closely with the senior delivery team, you will take responsibility for managing the snagging, inspection and handover process through to practical completion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
