emagine consulting is seeking a Payments Business Analyst with experience in regulated financial services, ideally with exposure to Private Banking and Wealth Management environments.
We are seeking a Senior FinOps Lead to join the CIB COO organisation, supporting the delivery of the bank's AI strategy across both Technology and Business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the FinOps strategy for AI consumption across the CIB COO organisation.
- Develop governance frameworks for AI usage, including commercial controls, financial oversight, and consumption policies.
- Look at AI usage across multiple platforms and services using the bank's Tokenomics capability, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas requiring governance.
- Partner with Technology teams to understand AI infrastructure costs across both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Evaluate the commercial effectiveness of AI use cases, balancing productivity gains against operating costs and P&L impact.
- Provide recommendations on build vs buy, automation opportunities, and where traditional delivery models (including offshore teams) may provide greater commercial value.
- Support the development of AI adoption strategies, ensuring responsible and effective use of AI tooling across the business.
- Work closely with Technology, Finance, Risk, Architecture, and Business stakeholders to define AI operating models and governance standards.
- Establish reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor AI consumption, cost, value realisation, and compliance.
- Be involved with executive-level discussions around AI investment decisions, optimisation opportunities, and future capability development.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place to support the responsible and compliant use of Generative AI technologies.

Essential
- Significant experience operating in a senior FinOps, Technology Finance, Commercial Management, or Technology Strategy role.
- Strong understanding of cloud financial management and cost optimisation principles.
- Experience working across both Technology and Business functions within a large, complex organisation.
- Demonstrable experience engaging and influencing senior executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess investment decisions, business cases, and P&L impacts.
- Experience developing governance frameworks, financial controls, or operating models.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
