FinTech Knowledge Lawyer
A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its London team as a FinTech Knowledge Lawyer. This is an excellent opportunity to step away from traditional fee earning while remaining closely involved in a fast-moving area of law, with exposure to regulatory change, market developments, and innovation.

Role Overview
The Knowledge Lawyer will support the firm's FinTech practice, helping lawyers stay ahead of important legal, regulatory, and market developments, particularly across the UK and Europe. The role combines technical legal expertise with knowledge development, training, and thought leadership, while also contributing to wider strategic and client-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and provide practical updates and analysis.
- Develop and maintain useful knowledge resources for lawyers across the practice.
- Produce client briefings, articles, and other thought leadership.
- Prepare and deliver internal and client-facing training.
- Provide specialist input on fintech-related legal and regulatory queries.
- Contribute to relevant industry and regulatory initiatives.
- Support business development, client engagement, and wider practice initiatives.
- Explore how AI, legal technology, and new ways of working can support the practice.

Who Would This Suit?
The firm is looking for a lawyer with 5+ years' PQE and strong experience in FinTech and/or FS Reg. Candidates may already be working as a Knowledge Lawyer or PSL, although applications are equally encouraged from experienced fee-earners interested in making the move into a knowledge role.
Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills are essential, alongside commercial awareness and the ability to communicate complex developments clearly. An interest in legal technology, innovation, and the changing financial services landscape would also be valuable.
