Fintech Operations Manager

Location: London
Type: Hybrid

Salary: £60,000–£65,000 base + Bonus + Equity + Excellent Benefits

Configured Recruitment is working on behalf of a highly successful Fintech business, established as a leading player within its niche and now entering an exciting period of growth. With a strong core product and services offering, the business is looking to expand into new verticals and opportunities that align with its existing capabilities, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join at an important stage of its journey.

We’re looking for a Fintech Operations Manager who is as comfortable building as they are managing. This is a role for someone who enjoys creating structure, developing best practice, and building scalable processes in an environment where the path forward isn’t always fully defined.

The Opportunity

As the business expands into new areas, you’ll play a key role in developing the operational infrastructure needed to support that growth.

You’ll take ownership of creating and improving processes across the operation, with a particular focus on payment operations, scalability, controls, and operational best practice. This is not a role where you’ll simply inherit a fully established operating model. You’ll be expected to look at a problem, understand what good looks like, create the process, and make it work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

You’re someone who enjoys building things that don’t yet exist. You’re comfortable operating without a perfectly defined roadmap and can bring clarity to ambiguity. You know how to ask the right questions, establish priorities, and turn an idea or objective into a process that works.

You’ll be naturally curious, commercially minded, and motivated by the opportunity to make a tangible impact. Most importantly, you’ll enjoy being part of a business that has already achieved significant success within its niche but is now looking at what comes next.
