London, full time fixed term.

BlackFin Tech is the venture capital fund of BlackFin Capital Partners, the European leading independent investor dedicated to financial services.
We typically provide capital at Series A/B and later to fast-growing fintech businesses reshaping the banking, insurance, asset management and financial services industries.
We are actively investing out of our €400m dedicated venture fund.

- Agicap: cash flow forecasting tool for SMEs
- Hawk-AI: transaction monitoring platform to fight against money laundering
- Mooncard: company cards and expense management solution
- Cryptio: accounting/ERP solution for digital assets

The role
BlackFin Tech is looking for an Intern to assist our investment team in our London office for a fixed period. You will play a crucial part in a small team, supporting day-to-day activities of the VC team, from sourcing to due diligence to portfolio monitoring. The role will provide a unique opportunity to learn, build your network and accelerate your career in the fintech VC ecosystem. We are looking for someone who will share our enthusiasm for supporting ambitious early stage fintech companies and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Key responsibilities
- Work directly with the investment team to source, screen and analyze potential deals, with a focus on the UK fintech market
- Market deep dives, research notes, and help in various marketing efforts
- Support our portfolio companies
- Support the team in managing investor relations and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Top-tier university undergraduate or recent graduate with at least one experience in a relevant professional environment (e.g. investment banking, consulting, tech startup)
- Demonstrated passion and interest in early stage startups, venture capital and fintech/financial services
- Some prior experience and knowledge of the UK fintech/startups ecosystem
- Comfortable with crunching numbers, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and curious
- Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement
- Current work permit for the UK

Timing and compensation
- 6 months length
- Paid internship, with salary to be discussed
- Available to start from Oct/Nov 2026 (exact start date to be discussed)
