We are currently recruiting for experienced Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineers to join a growing Active Fire & Security team, covering the North West and Yorkshire & Humber.
About the Role
This is a field-based role working across an existing customer base, carrying out installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs and fault-finding across a range of fire and security systems.
Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Fault finding, repairs and troubleshooting
- Working on intruder alarms, CCTV and access control
- Carrying out site surveys and small installation projects
- Completing preventative maintenance and system modifications
- Maintaining accurate service reports and compliance documentation
- Liaising directly with customers and the office
- Identifying additional works and opportunities
- Participating in call-out and out-of-hours standby rotas

About You
- Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer / Commissioning Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with fire alarm and intruder alarm systems – essential
- Installation, commissioning and maintenance experience
- Good electrical and fault-finding knowledge
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS, IPAF and PASMA qualifications are desirable

- £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
