Role Overview
To work within our post order Design Engineering team, working with project teams to produce design deliverables in line with project programs. You will work closely with regional Project Managers to manage and deliver comprehensive Life Safety System designs for complex major projects. You will have previous design experience and technical understanding of fire and security related systems with a proven ability to professionally document, illustrate and present detailed fire and security system designs with in-depth knowledge of the relevant standards: BS5839, pt1, pt8, pt9, BS6266, BS7671 and BS7273.

Typical Responsibilities
- To become fully competent, through in-house training, in the use of the Company’s computer systems to meet customer requirements and communicate accurate and valid information when conversing with both internal and external customers.
- To represent the Company consistently and positively to customers in line with the Customer Care Requirements.
- To always maintain effective communication with both internal and external customers.
- To ensure all documentation is accurately completed, stored, and provided to appropriate personnel when required.
- Implement Company design procedures with the relevant stakeholders, ensure there is a full understanding of the scope documents, and the system design is fully compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
- Manage the post order design process from sales handover to completion, ensuring all documentation/drawings/calculations are produced/recorded and reported in line with company standards.
- Any other duties commensurate with the role.

Qualifications
- FIA Design certification
- Technical/Engineering qualification
- Revit and AutoCAD
Experience
- Major project design experience
- Multi discipline design experience
- Experience of working with Revit
- Experience of working within a building services environment
- Experience of working with CDE’s
