Join UK Safety Management as a Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Service Engineer 🚨

UK Safety Management is looking for a reliable, motivated and technically minded Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Service Engineer to join our growing team.

You’ll be out on the road visiting a variety of client sites, servicing and inspecting fire alarm and emergency lighting systems, carrying out minor remedial works and fault-finding, and ensuring systems remain safe, compliant and operational.

What Will You Do?

  • Servicing and inspections of fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839.
  • Servicing and inspections of emergency lighting systems in accordance with BS 5266-1.
  • Minor installation and remedial works, including adding devices and replacing panels.
  • Replacement of emergency lighting fittings safely and correctly.
  • Fault-finding and non-critical repairs.
  • Accurate recording of inspection and testing results.
  • Completion of reports and certification.
  • Communicating faults, issues and recommendations clearly to customers.

Your daily schedule, routing and appointments are managed by our dedicated office team, so you can focus on delivering a high standard of work rather than planning your own day.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Comfortable driving and travelling between different client sites.
  • Happy working independently across a variety of client sites.
  • Technically minded with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Confident carrying out servicing, testing and fault-finding.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional.
  • Confident communicating with customers.
  • Comfortable working across a variety of commercial and industrial environments.
  • Organised and accurate when completing reports and certification.
  • Keen to develop their skills within the fire and electrical safety industry.

Previous experience in fire alarms and emergency lighting is desirable, but we’re open to training the right candidate.
