Fire Alarm Engineer
📍 South Wales & Surrounding Areas
I am currently recruiting for both an Install and Service and Maintenance Engineer both covering South Wales, the below is for the Install role but please still apply if you are looking for a service role.
We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join a growing team covering South Wales and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in fire alarm installations, particularly on Gent systems.
The Role
- Installation, commissioning and basic fault-finding of fire alarm systems.
- Predominantly working on Gent fire alarm panels, with some Advanced panels.
- Working across a range of commercial and industrial sites throughout South Wales.
- Ensuring all work is completed to current industry standards and client requirements.
- Occasional weekend work as part of a planned rota.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the fire alarm industry.
- Proven experience installing and commissioning Gent fire alarm systems.
- Gent Basic qualification is essential.
- Strong understanding of fire alarm regulations and standards.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ideally based within South Wales for easy access to customer sites.

Package
- Salary of £38,000 - £40,000, depending on experience and ability.
- Standard working hours of 08:30 - 17:00, with flexibility to start and finish earlier when required.
- Travel time paid outside of the first 30 minutes each way.
- Overtime paid at:
- Time & a half for labour Monday to Saturday.
- Double time on Sundays.
- Company vehicle, tools and equipment provided.
