Fire Alarm Installation Engineer – Manchester
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 DOE
Location: Manchester & surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Company Van & Fuel Card Provided
We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join our growing team, working predominantly across Manchester and the surrounding areas.
This is an installation-focused position, primarily working with Advanced MxPro 5 and Gent Vigilon addressable fire alarm systems across a range of commercial projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- First and second fix fire alarm installations
- Installation of Advanced MxPro 5 and Gent Vigilon systems
- Installation and termination of addressable detection, sounders, MCPs, interfaces and associated equipment
- Fire alarm panel and network installation
- Installation and termination of fire-rated cabling
- Reading and working from drawings and specifications
- Loop testing and basic fault finding
- Maintaining a high standard of installation and workmanship
- Working in accordance with relevant standards and site requirements
- Completing works independently and as part of a project team

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience installing addressable fire alarm systems
- Experience with Advanced MxPro 5 and/or Gent Vigilon
- Good knowledge of fire alarm installation practices
- Ability to read drawings and work independently
- Good cable installation and termination skills
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS/CSCS or relevant industry cards preferred
- IPAF and other relevant qualifications advantageous
