We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to install, test, commission, service, and maintain fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting in line with industry regulations. The role also involves fault finding and repairs, completing accurate service reports, providing professional client support, and ensuring all work meets current health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, testing, and commissioning fire alarm systems in accordance with industry regulations
- Completing routine servicing and planned maintenance on fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to ensure systems remain fully compliant and operational
- Producing clear and accurate service reports and documentation
- Providing professional support and communication to clients on-site
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with current health and safety standards

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Technician, Electrical Engineer, or similar
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm installation, servicing and fault-finding
- Understanding of British Standards and fire safety regulations (BS 5839 preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
