Role Description (Fire & Security Engineer)
This is an on-site, full-time engineer role based in Wigan, but covering the North West and surrounding areas. The role/candidate will assist with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance security and fire alarm systems. They will support senior engineers, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure that systems are operational and meet client requirements.

- Full-time · Permanent
- Salary: £26,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience)
- Location: North West
This is a role where you will work/travel to sites as required; however, predominantly working in the Manchester and Lancashire area.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of Fire Protection and Security systems
- Carrying out remedial works and upgrades
- Fault finding and diagnostics across multiple systems
- Working across a variety of systems including:
- Fire Alarms (Part 1 & 6)
- Intruder Alarms
- CCTV/Video Surveillance Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Door Entry Systems
- Nursecall Systems
- Networking Systems
- Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and regulations

Candidate must have the following:
- Full UK clean driving licence
- Level 3 qualification within the fire & security or electrical industry or 3+ years experience (No Qualification)
- Great communication skills are integral for team and customer relationships
- A ‘can do’ attitude towards any task at hand
- Punctual and good timekeeping
- High organizational skills

- £26,000 – £40,000 salary (DOE) + overtime available frequently
