About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our field-based team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of systems including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, gates, and fire alarms.
This is a national role, offering variety and responsibility, where you will visit customer sites across the UK while delivering high-quality service and representing the business with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and commissioning fire and security systems
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs to ensure system performance
- Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues efficiently
- Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships
- Supporting the wider operational team in service delivery
- Ensuring all work meets compliance, safety, and regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems
- Experience working in a field-based environment
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good understanding of health & safety and industry standards
- Organised, proactive approach with ability to take ownership
- Confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn internal systems
- Commercial awareness with a focus on customer satisfaction
Compliance & Requirements
- Full 5-year checkable employment history
- Minimum of 2 references
- Right to work in the UK
- Credit check clearance
- Relevant industry qualifications (desirable but not essential)
