Fire & Security Engineer
Dorset or Hampshire | £35,000 - £45,000 DOE | Permanent
A well-established fire & security business is looking to add an experienced Small Works Engineer to its team, covering customer sites across Dorset and/or Hampshire.
This is a field-based role working on small works, remedial projects, upgrades, and panel replacements, with a strong focus on fire alarm systems.
You’ll be working across a range of sites including local authority properties, HMOs, flats, and residential homes, carrying out works to existing systems and ensuring everything is completed to a high standard.

- Small works and remedial fire alarm projects
- Fire alarm servicing and maintenance
- Panel swaps and system upgrades

- Completing works across Hampshire and Dorset
- Liaising with customers and providing a professional service
- Completing relevant job sheets and documentation
About You
We’re looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer with a strong background in fire alarm servicing and small works. You’ll ideally have experience with:
- Advanced, C-Tec, and/or Gent fire alarm systems
- Fire alarm servicing and fault finding
- Panel replacements and remedial works
- Working independently on customer sites
- Residential, HMO, flats, or local authority environments

A full UK driving licence is required. Commissioning experience is not required for this position.
Package
- £35,000–£45,000, depending on experience
- Permanent contract
