We’re expanding our team and have some exciting opportunities for Fire & Security Install Supervisors, Technical Supervisors, and Project Engineers (Custodial). You’ll be at the heart of a brand-new Fire Detection and Alarm Systems project in a New Build Prison environment. If you’ve got solid industry knowledge and a track record of delivering projects, this is your chance to put your skills to the test on fast-paced, high-security custodial work that really makes a difference.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Taking charge of projects on site all the way through to completion.
  • Keeping construction programmes on track and updating the right people.
  • Managing installations on-site while coordinating with sub-contractors and clients.
  • Leading health & safety duties – from toolbox talks to safe starts.
  • Working closely with design, manufacturing, and other departments to hit deadlines.
  • Spotting potential problem areas early and making sure they’re resolved quickly.
  • Ensuring everything complies with codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Signing off on quality assurance checks and ensuring top standards are met.
  • Delegating tasks like a pro while keeping your team motivated.
  • Carrying out Pre-commissioning and Minor install tasks (not essential).
  • And, of course, rolling up your sleeves to tackle anything else that comes your way.

Qualifications

  • A Levels or equivalent qualifications

Experience

  • Fire and security industry experience whether it be installation, commissioning, or administration.
  • Working knowledge of current British Standards.
  • Knowledge of Fire Detection and associated equipment.
  • Experience within a Prison environment.

  • Ability to liaise and coordinate works with clients.
  • Good financial management skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft computer packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
