Fire and Security Trainer and Assessor
North Bristol | £40,000 to £42,000 | Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Our client is an independent training provider delivering apprenticeships and commercial training across business, healthcare, childcare, and the trades. Electrical, plumbing and gas, and fire and security all run from their North Bristol centre. The trades team is expanding and this is a new position within it.
The Role
Deliver classroom teaching against the Fire Emergency Security Systems Level 3 standard
Assess learner portfolios, which are managed electronically, and track progress against the standard
Prepare learners for End Point Assessment, both one to one and in groups
Keep accurate records for every learner on your caseload

What You Need
- NVQ Level 3 in a fire and security or electrical discipline
- Substantial hands-on experience in fire and security installation, fire alarm systems, and security system installation and commissioning
- Enhanced DBS, arranged before you start
- A teaching or assessing qualification is an advantage but is not essential. The client provides full training on the teaching side.

The Package
- £40,000 to £42,000 depending on experience
