Job Title: Fire Damper Engineer
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £27k - £36k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a growing name within the Fire Damper / Ventilation industry, who have recently won new works in the North of England. They are seeking an experienced and self-sufficient Fire Damper Engineer to service a range of commercial, industrial and public sector contracts. Applicants must be proficient in logging and testing manual fire dampers and actuators, and ideally will have experience of completing remedial repairs when needed. Our client can offer competitive salaries, in addition to comprehensive benefits packages. They are also able to offer great further training / development for hardworking individuals.

Experience / Qualifications
- Experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer
- Ideally will hold the NVQ Level 5 in Smoke and Fire Dampers
- Excellent industry technical knowledge, including BS9999 guidelines
- Able to travel and work flexible shifts as needed
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Hardworking attitude
The Role
- Inspecting and logging fire dampers
- Testing fire dampers to ensure functionality and compliance
- Installing access panels
- Highlighting any required repairs
- Replacing TEK screws, links, collars and ribbons
- Producing regular service reports
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical queries
- Working to agreed deadlines
