Fire Door Inspector/Auditor
At Logic Fire & Security, we're recruiting a Fire Door Inspector/Auditor to join our growing Fire Safety team. In this role, you'll carry out detailed inspections of fire doors, communal doors and fire exits across commercial, residential and local authority properties, ensuring compliance with current fire safety standards. You'll travel to multiple customer sites each day, accurately recording inspection findings using handheld technology while delivering a professional and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed inspections of apartment entrance doors, communal fire doors and fire exits across commercial, residential and local authority properties, accurately recording findings on a PDA and ensuring compliance with fire safety standards
- Travel daily to multiple customer sites, with occasional overnight stays, managing your workload efficiently while delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships
- Produce accurate inspection reports, identify non-compliant fire safety assets and ensure all documentation is completed to a high standard in line with company procedures and health & safety requirements
- Work safely in a variety of environments, including stairs, ladders and confined spaces where required, while maintaining excellent communication with the Fire Safety Compliance Manager and wider team

Can You Show Experience In Some Of These Areas
- Experience carrying out inspections, audits or compliance activities within fire safety, construction, property maintenance or a similar environment, with knowledge of health and safety legislation being advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate reports using handheld devices and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage your own workload and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays, and the ability to undertake the physical aspects of the role, including walking stairs, using ladders and working in confined spaces. A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check will be required
