We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Joiner to join our team, carrying out the installation, maintenance, inspection, and remedial works associated with fire doors across commercial and residential properties nationwide.

The successful candidate will be BM TRADA Q-Mark qualified and have strong practical experience working to current fire-door standards and manufacturer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves installing, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining fire doors and associated ironmongery. You will be responsible for carrying out fire-door remedial works to a high standard and ensuring all doors are fitted and maintained in accordance with relevant standards, regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
You will be expected to identify defects and report any issues requiring further remedial action, while completing job sheets, photographs, and relevant site documentation accurately.

The successful candidate will work safely and maintain high standards of workmanship on every site. You will also liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other contractors and travel nationwide to complete scheduled projects.
You will be responsible for maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order and ensuring all works are completed within agreed timescales.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have proven experience as a Fire Door Joiner and hold relevant BM TRADA Q-Mark qualifications for fire-door installation or inspection.
You must have strong knowledge of fire-door construction, components, and installation requirements, with practical experience working with fire-door frames, intumescent products, seals, hinges, closers, locks, and associated hardware.
The role requires excellent attention to detail, a quality-focused approach, and the ability to work independently. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing and able to travel nationwide, including overnight stays when required.

Desirable Experience
Additional fire-door inspection or maintenance qualifications, a relevant joinery qualification or NVQ, a CSCS card, and experience working on commercial, social housing, healthcare, education, or high-rise projects would be advantageous.
Experience using digital job-management systems and completing photographic evidence would also be beneficial.
