About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Joiner to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors across a variety of commercial and residential projects throughout the UK.

This role requires nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has a strong work ethic, and is willing to develop new skills while supporting other areas of the business when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of fire-rated doors and associated ironmongery.
  • Carrying out fire door inspections, repairs, and maintenance works.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Recording completed works and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Travelling to customer sites across the UK.
  • Working independently and as part of a team.
  • Assisting with other building maintenance and business activities as required.
  • Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Joiner/Carpenter.
  • Experience in fire door installation, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and undertake occasional overnight stays.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Fire door qualifications or certifications.
  • Experience working within commercial and public sector environments.
  • Knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
  • CSCS card or other relevant construction qualifications.
