About Us

BlueLight Fire Engineering is a specialist fire engineering consultancy providing practical, commercially focused, and technically robust fire engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects.

As our workload continues to grow, particularly within the healthcare sector, we are looking to expand our team with the appointment of an experienced Fire Engineer who can support the delivery of technically complex and rewarding projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing consultancy and play a key role in the delivery of fire engineering services to NHS organisations, healthcare providers, and wider public sector clients.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Engineer who can independently manage and deliver project fire engineering work across a variety of healthcare environments.

The role will initially focus predominantly on healthcare projects, including hospitals, mental health facilities, community healthcare buildings, and other specialist healthcare premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality fire engineering solutions, reports, and technical assessments while working closely with clients, estates teams, design consultants, and project stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
