Role: Fire Risk Assessment Coordinator

Location: London

Salary: From £30,000 per annum plus benefits

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)

Your Role, Your Impact

The FRA Coordinator is responsible for the administration, coordination, and monitoring of Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and associated remedial actions across the property portfolio. This role supports the Safety Assurance Team by maintaining accurate records, tracking compliance performance, coordinating assessment programmes, and supporting quality assurance activities. Acting as a key liaison between Fire Risk Assessors, Property Managers, Contractors, and internal stakeholders, the FRA Coordinator ensures FRAs and associated actions are completed within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor the FRA programme, ensuring assessments, reviews, and associated actions are completed and tracked effectively.
  • Maintain accurate fire safety records, compliance data, and reporting dashboards.
  • Support FRA quality assurance processes, performance reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Monitor and escalate overdue or high-risk actions to support regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with assessors, contractors, operational teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate delivery of fire safety compliance requirements.
  • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting through effective record management and compliance monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Experience in administration, compliance, or coordination roles, with strong organisational, communication, data management, and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experienced in using compliance systems and databases.

Desirable:

  • Experience within fire safety, housing, property, or compliance environments, with knowledge of Fire Risk Assessments, fire safety legislation, and digital platforms such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Apps.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • FRA programme delivery within target timescales.
  • Accuracy and quality of compliance records and data.
  • Effective management of overdue assessments and actions.
  • Timely completion of QA reviews and corrective actions.
  • Delivery of accurate compliance reporting and performance dashboards.
