Fire Risk Assessor - London

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:30

My client, a global property services group, are looking for Fire Risk Assessors due to growing the internal team. You will be joining at an exciting stage as you help to deliver the fire safety services across the residential portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carrying out necessary fire risk assessments across the residential portfolio of the group
  • Reviewing previous assessments, maintenance records, contractor reports and fire strategies
  • Inspecting communal areas, fire doors, alarm systems, emergency lighting and other relevant fire safety measures
  • Working directly with property managers, clients, contractors and the senior leadership team
  • Reviewing own work and helping colleagues to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality
  • Prioritising assessments according to the risk level and managing own diary

Must Have

  • Fire risk assessment experience across residential buildings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • A keen problem solver and good under pressure
  • Client facing
  • Strong administration and excellent IT skills
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with landlords
  • Positive and encouraging attitude
