Fire Risk Officer

South West | Hybrid Working
Permanent
£44,529 per annum

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Housing Association for an experienced Fire Risk Officer to join their Fire Safety team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation committed to maintaining the highest standards of fire safety and compliance across its residential portfolio. This is a hybrid position with regular travel required across the organisation's operating regions, including London, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset.

The Role

As Fire Risk Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out Fire Risk Assessments across residential buildings, ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and supporting the delivery of remedial programmes. Working closely with internal teams, contractors, and Fire Authorities, you will provide technical advice and ensure the organisation continues to meet its statutory obligations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
