Fire Safety Assessor

We're working with a fast-growing property management company that is expanding its specialist fire safety team. They're looking for a knowledgeable, self-motivated Fire Safety Advisor to help keep residents safe across a varied portfolio of residential buildings.

This is a hands-on, home-based role with plenty of variety. You'll be out on site running fire risk assessments and fire door inspections, and you'll see your recommendations turn into real improvements. You'll work independently, with a supportive, experienced team behind you and training to help you keep building your expertise.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Assessments across a portfolio of client sites
• Inspecting fire doors in buildings over 11 metres, in line with current Building Safety Regulations
• Making sure buildings meet the latest fire safety regulations and technical standards
• Working with internal teams to plan remedial works and making sure competent contractors complete them to the right standard
• Advising colleagues on health, safety and wellbeing
• Advising on fire-related matters in Building Regulations applications
• Solving fire and health and safety problems with a practical, methodical approach
• Site visits are planned by area, so your travel is grouped efficiently rather than spread across the map.
